HJP is a Lisbon-born architecture, art and research practitioner of Angolan heritage, dissecting philosophical frameworks in relation to enacted modes of power, moral codes and Christian discipleship. His work moves between material forms and socially engaged practice, using art installations, placemaking  and dramaturgy as sites of discourse and cultural production.

Supported by the Sir Frank Bowling Scholarship, J. Paris’s doctoral research traces the entanglements between built environments and stigmatised social experiences, attending to immersive modes of historicising that exceed nationalist borders and orientations.
